TODAY WE WENT ROLLER SKATING....RUSS HAS BEEN PROMISING MARTHA BRAVO FOR SUCH A LONG TIME...HE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT HE TOOK HER BEFORE SHE LEFT TOWN...WE WENT TO THE 5PM SESSION AT HOT WHEELS...IT WAS JUST TOO FUNNY...RUSS AND MARTHA ROLLERED AROUND LIKE IF THEY WERE TEENAGERS...I GUESS AS SOON AS YOU PUT ON THOSE SKATES YOU TURN BACK TIME, TO THE EARLY 80'S...YOUR FEET AUTOMATICALLY START DOING THE SHUFFLE...I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE MADISON SKATE...SHE STILL SKATES WITH JUST ONE FOOT, THAT DOESN'T SEEM TO CHANGE...BUT WHAT SURPRISED ME WAS THIS OBSESSION SHE HAD WITH THIS TEENAGE BOY....I THINK SHE ACTUALLY FELL INLOVE WITH HIM...SHE HAD A NICKNAME FOR HIM "LUKE" (LIKE LUKE SKYWALKER) THE BOY WAS A VERY GOOD SKATER AND YOU ACTUALLY FELT ALITTLE MEZMORIZED BY HIM...SHE FOLLOWED HIS EVERY MOVE...EVERYONE WAS OFF THE FLOOR GETTING READY TO LEAVE AND MADISON WAS STILL SKATING AROUND HIM...IT WAS CUTE BUT KINDA SCARY...SHE IS WAY TO YOUNG TO EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! ***EDITED TO INCLUDE OSCAR, ANA P., AND SANTIAGO***

That sounds like so much fun! My hubbie and I and some friends of ours went skating before I got pregnant with Emma and boy did we have a ball. It was quite funny too, because my friend's husband and I were obviously the "seasoned" skaters while Tim and Audrea hugged the walls most of the night. We kept begging the DJ to play 80's music because you just can't skate to today's music! Gotta have that beat! Am I right??? :)
He, the DJ, referred to us over the loudspeaker as the "old school" skaters! We were proud.
Anyway, fun times...
THANK YOU so much for taking us to that great sunday afternoon! We had a blast. Even Santi! You are right as soon as you put on the skates times goes back and you just feel 14 again! It was one the best days ever! And of course you had to be part of it :). Another thing Orlando doesn't have!
